All of our footbeds are made from natural veg tanned leather. This is the highest grade of leather and is naturally tough. You could wear your sandals for years without caring for the leathers, and they will continue to perform.
If you wish to keep them looking their best, we recommend wiping them down with a damp cloth and allowing them to air dry. You may also add a very light coat of our Saphir Nappa Balm a few times a year. Simply work the conditioner into the leather, let it dry and then buff it off with a soft cloth.
